Angela + John knew they didn’t want any visual distractions–just a focus on their connection and love. I have to admit, I was nervous when Angela first approached me about her vision to have their engagement session in a studio. I’ve shot engagement sessions in fields, beaches, parks, city streets.. when you need a refresh, it’s easy to move onto another location and let the great outdoors inspire you. But one small all-white location? Yikes…

Turns out, I LOVED shooting in the studio for how it challenged me creatively to display their unique story. And these two made it so easy! (It might have helped that Angela has a background in theatre 😉 ) I love their story – they met at a church revival while they were still in school. Angela says she knew that day that she was going to marry him. Through seasons of rejection, waiting, and pursuit, they finally found deep love and commitment and will finally be married in less than a month! So honored to capture this season of fulfillment for them <3
