Chantelle + Giulio | Catskill Wedding

Chantelle and Giulio’s relationship is really about bringing two families and two sets of friends together. They come from such different places (Giulio grew up in Rome, and Chantelle in Hong Kong), and yet they have woven their lives and friends together so seamlessly. To celebrate, they planned a weekend getaway in the Catskills and gave their guests a reason to have a fun summer weekend upstate – and it was a blast! Guests were encouraged to explore hiking trails, pools and hot tubs at the venue, kayaking in the Hudson, and quaint antique stores and cafes right in town.

Their love and care go beyond just their friends and family – but also for the community. They tried to locally source as much of the elements of their wedding as they could. All the flowers were from a local farm, the nuts and cookies for their guests’ welcome bags were from vendors upstate, and they even asked their caterer to source all local ingredients. Also, in lieu of party favors, they donated to The Sierra Club. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned as they celebrated not just their marriage, but their wonderful family, friendships, and environment.
