There’s something special about having a shoot in your hometown and for one of your childhood friends. Not many things can top that when it comes to shooting 🙂 Hannah and I grew up together at church for as long as I can remember, and it’s been such a blessing to see her through big life moments – graduating from Teachers College, finding her groove with teaching, now engaged to David, and set to be married early next year!! So when they asked me to take some shots for their Save the Date (photos for the card not shown..can’t wait for the reveal :D), I was super excited! It was such a fun evening of shooting in different parts of town where they first started dating – and discovering some location GEMS I never noticed before (and I’ve lived here pretty much my whole life..whoops) It was one of those shoots I couldn’t wait to get back home and start editing 🙂 I loved spending time with them as we chased the sun, and we topped off the evening at one of Joel and my fave restaurants, Bridgeview Tavern – woot! We love you guys!
Love these photos! Where in Tarrytown is that stone bridge?
