What a JOY it was to capture this wedding! I’ve known Sarah since our college days, and even as a freshman, I knew Sarah had a wisdom and maturity beyond her years. She is the kind of person who does everything with intention and purpose. I’ve always been challenged by single-mindedness and heart to honor God by seeking him and loving all those around her. From serving our community together to living in the same suite my senior year, it’s been such an honor to be part of her journey!
Sarah and Sam met in 2013, but it wasn’t until 2014 that they began dating – on a KCCC staff cruise to the Bahamas! It may sound fancy, but Sarah says Sam was sick most of the time! They were long-distance for over a year until Sarah moved to California because of her expanded leadership role on staff. They finally got engaged in November 2016!! They are so beautiful together. You can see their engagement session here.
Sarah + Sam’s wedding day was a dream. From the details, to the emotion, to the setting, and the joy that was felt by all, it couldn’t have been more amazing. I’ve always been such a fan of couples doing first looks, but I think Sarah sold me on first looks with Dad!! Nonstop waterworks. There was such a depth of tenderness and love as her Dad saw her for the first time that day, and it continued all the way to their dance together at the reception 🙂
Sarah and Sam, we love you guys and wish you nothing but the best! Your wedding day was more beautiful than I could have imagined, and it was an HONOR to serve you. You guys are such a power couple and we know you will be such a blessing in your ministry together and beyond. Now, move to the east coast so we can see each other more often!! 🙂
