Lisa and Chris are quite possibly the luckiest couple I’ve met. Both for their engagement session and their wedding day, the weather forecast was not promising – rain all day and all night. I remember for their engagement session, I had to cut a previous session short because the rain was relentless. But as soon as Lisa got out of her cab and we all stepped out into Central Park, not only did it stop raining, but the sun came out in full force! Their wedding day was no different. It was raining on and off all morning, so we were contemplating shooting the first look, portraits, and bridal party photos indoors. Still, we decided to try our luck on a seriously gorgeous garden that Joel and I had scouted out earlier, and the rain held up the whole time! They were even able to keep their beautiful, heartfelt ceremony outdoors. But as soon as everyone went in for the reception, the heavens opened again with downpours. I can’t think of a more fortunate and blessed way to start off married life together 🙂 Cheers, Lisa and Chris!!
