This post has been a long time coming!! I didn’t want to ruin anyone’s holiday photo surprise, so I’ve refrained from sharing. But I think it’s safe to reveal these beautiful families now, right? 😉

 I had the privilege of capturing 42 families over the course of 2.5 months at the end of last year (not including newborn, maternity, and weddings! Those will come in separate posts ;)). Yes, you read that right… It was quite the marathon to 2018! I’m so so thankful for each family who trusted me with capturing this special season in their lives. It’s been so fun especially capturing returning families from last year and seeing how much the little ones have grown in a couple of months. So bittersweet!! As our own family gets ready to welcome bebe #3 this June, I’m realizing just how fleeting each stage is and how special it is to document them! My pregnancy hormones are definitely getting the best of me even as I write this post.. but family sessions have such a special place in my heart, because it’s my own journey into motherhood and growing a family that birthed a new dimension of love (and patience and self control and sacrifice and etc. :P) in my heart and an overwhelming desire to savor and document these fleeting seasons. So THANK YOU for letting me into your lives to capture this moment in time, to be remembered and cherished for the years to come.
