N+D | Wedding at the Estate at Florentine Gardens

Apr 12, 2018

There are always special moments that stick out to me at each wedding I shoot – moments, however subtle or fleeting, that I know will leave deep impressions in my couple’s lives for years to come and even in my own. From the start of the day, I loved how Nadine and Drew were so intentional in making time for themselves to take everything in. Right after their heartwarming first look, they shared personal vows with each other. With tears and laughter, they expressed their commitments to each other for the years to come, and then sealed it all in prayer. It was such a sacred moment where they dedicated their first minutes together to their love and their faith. I may or may not have shed some tears… It was so beautiful!! To end the evening, when Nadine’s grandfather blessed them with a song on his clarinet, I’m pretty sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. The whole day was so full of love, their smiles were contagious, and my cheeks were definitely hurting by the end of the day J Congrats you two, and cheers to many years of laughter and joy to come!
